Gertie is the official Shop Dog of Grady's Automotive. Gertie keeps the shop running smoothly with plenty of sniffs and tail wags. When she's not patrolling the shop, she can be found napping behind the front desk.

Mikayla is Co-Owner and Service Writer, keeping the shop organized and customers informed every step of the way. She also manages the financial side, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
our story
We’re Grady and Mikayla — the husband-and-wife team behind Grady’s Automotive. Fittingly, our story began in a garage back in 2017.
Mikayla came in for a routine oil change & tire rotation, and Grady was the service writer. At the time, neither of us had any idea that simple interaction would turn into a life together. Since then, we’ve built more than just a relationship — we’ve built a shared passion for working with our hands, tackling DIY projects, and creating something meaningful.
Grady’s Automotive is the result of that journey.
Grady brings over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, having grown up turning wrenches alongside his dad, Steve Fahrney.
Grady went on to become a Ford Certified Senior Master Technician, with certifications in Chassis, Drivetrain, Powertrain (Gasoline and Diesel), and Electric Vehicles. After a decade in dealership service, Grady took a leap of faith to build something of his own — a local shop where integrity, quality, and community always come first.
